So here’s the tea...
As a child, I was inseparable with drawing books and by the time I turned 6, I had a fascination for varying weights of pencils. I always had a deep interest in fine arts that eventually paved my path towards the digital arts. I was accepted into one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines, the Ateneo de Manila University, where I finished with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Information Design. We were taught that as designers, we are first and foremost, problem solvers. With that mindset, I try to work on each piece with meaning and careful thought. When I moved to New York, I took Graphic Design in the reputable Fashion Institute of Technology, while also juggling a marketing and graphic design internship for CITYarts, Inc., an art organization based in SoHo, New York dedicated to bringing youth and artists together to build communities through public art. With my skills in Information Design, I’ve worked with complex data for healthcare brands, delving into user/patient researcher, and finding different and creative ways to deliver curated messages. My learning experiences include working in a leading healthcare information platform and award-winning advertising agencies.
